Fishman, Charles. n.d., n. pag. Web. 14 Nov. 2011. <http://www.fastcompany.com/magazine/77/walmart.html?page=0,0>.This website has strong opposition against Walmart and blames them for companies sending their factories overseas. They Blame Walmart because of the pricing demands they force on companies, in turn, making them to build factories overseas so they can get cheaper labor and meet the demands Walmart instills on them. This website is credible because they focus on business and access market trends, their fore to keep their respect they must be accurate on statements and assumptions. Their argument was clear and used accordingly.

Fitzgerald, Kelly. St. Francis. N.p., n.d. Web. 14 Nov 2011. <http://www.stfrancis.edu/content/ba/ghkickul/stuwebs/bbios/biograph/walton1.htm>.This was a biography of Sam Walton’s life growing up and how he learned to work hard and appreciate the value of a dollar. The information is accurate and is very insightful to how he was raised, lived and the hard work he put into his business. What many people often forget is that Walmart was also once a small business that had to make its way and compete against other businesses. Walmart became the retail giant it is now because of Sam Walton’s passion to bring his customers low prices. He was also an innovator in the realm of shopping. This all leads to why Walmart became such a great success.

Hawkins, Kathry. "Facts and Fiction About the "Walmart Effect" ."Intuit. Intuit, 05062011. Web. 14 Nov. 2011. http://blog.intuit.com/marketing/facts-and-fiction-about-the-walmart-effect/. This was a great source that debunked common myths about Walmart. Intuit is a site for small businesses and they focus on small businesses. This was a great website that debunked common myths about the effects Walmart brings about to local communities. This website proved that Walmart can have many positive effects on small business that many people widely overlook or do not realize. This source was very beneficial because in Saint George Utah is a premium example of this, how local companies have benefited having a Walmart present.

Heyrend, Rick. Personal Interview. 4 Oct, 2011 this source was personally interviewed by myself and it was blast to do. I personally interviewed Rick Heyrend who is the Walmart manager of the Hurricane City Walmart. The interview went really well I had all my questions answered and he even informed me of more of Walmart’s doings that helped me come up with more to talk about in my paper. The most important thing about the interview was the human aspect; during the interview I got to connect with Rick and saw a different face of Walmart that grand majority of people overlook. This made me more determined to try my best to make a solid report on how Walmart actually benefits small communities and helps them out, I am now attached to Walmart and that is all thanks to this paper. All in all my goal with the interview now is to make my readers also see the face of Walmart that goes unnoticed and hopefully they can see Walmart for more than just a huge building where they can basically buy everything they will ever need.

Spencer, Richard. "Walmart luanches stinging attack on Chinese suppliers." Telegraph 22 oct 2008, n. pag. Web. 14 Nov. 2011. <http://www.telegraph.co.uk/finance/newsbysector/retailandconsumer/3240469/Wal-Mart-launches-stinging-attack-on-Chinese-suppliers.html>. This was an article written in a newspaper about the dedication Walmart has to bringing its customers quality products. Not only does Walmart keep tabs on its suppliers but they also care about the conditions that the employees of their suppliers work in. Walmart caring about the condition of the employees from other countries is something hardly ever taken into consideration by the Walmart opposition. This is a great and credible source that helped fight the argument that Walmart buys its products from sweat shops.

"SweatFree Communities: Sweatshop Solutions?" SweatFree Communities: Home Page,Creative Commons License. Web. 14 Nov. 2011. <http://www.sweatfree.org/sweatshopsolutions>. This website was from an organization trying to bring an end to sweatshops and child labor. This website gave insight to the conditions that sweatshop laborers are subject to. This website claimed that workers in a Chinese company were conditioned sweatshop like conditions because they sold to Walmart and had to keep up with the high demands put on the company by Walmart. The website is credible and many of the accusations are true, Walmart did buy products from companies that had sweat shops laborers. Walmart has since changed their ways. This was good opposition for a set up to prove it wrong but yet acknowledge that it is true but is no longer happening.

"Your New Monroe, Washington, Walmart Store Fact Sheet."Walmart Community. Walmart, n.d. Web. 14 Nov 2011. <http://walmartcommunity.com/monroe-wa>. This website summarized and was directed to Monroe, Washington and it described all the benefits they would now have due to Walmart moving into their town. The biggest benefit the website claimed was increasing the local tax revenue. The increase of tax revenue is one of the strongest arguments to bringing a Walmart into your small town. The website pointed out many other benefits of having a Walmart in your town and when tooken into consideration they are very true, such as cheaper groceries, access to healthier groceries, more home goods, employment opportunities and of course increasing the local tax revenue.
